We spent a few days in Moab with some of our besties just before Thanksgiving, and while we were there, Avery went on her first mountain biking ride. What better place to take your first mountain biking ride than in Moab?! It was a daddy/daughter adventure, Seth & Avery and Matt & Mari. Mari and Avery are the more adventurous of the sisters, while Sadie and Misa tend to be a bit less adventuresome. So after a day of hiking, our eightsome divided into foursomes and went in separate directions, the adventurers heading to the Bar M Loop, a pretty easy ride technically, so it was a good pick for a first ride.
It was pretty cold so Avery opted to keep her jeans over the pants she brought to bike in. Apparently dad was a little stinky after hiking and biking.
Avery really enjoyed it and she plans on doing more mountain biking in the future, so we'll count it a success!
